The Csergezán Pál Canyon is located on the highest point of the Buda Hills, the 559 m high Nagy-Kopasz. Rising on the triple border of Páty, Nagykovácsi and Telki, the top level of the redwood lookout is 18 metres above the entrance level, with exactly 100 steps to reach.
The basilica, majestic even in its ruins, was built by the Premontrian monks in the mid 1200s. Half destroyed by the earthquake of 1763, it has not been rebuilt since. The Biatorbágy viaduct is actually a double railway viaduct. The first was built in 1884, the second in 1898. The viaduct is a monument to the most glorious period in Hungarian railway history, but it is also a great sight to behold.
In the village of Etyek, on the hilltop in Botpusztan, stands alone a tall stone church, which must have existed in the late 1200s. This church was demolished in the 1400s, and a short section of wall was left and rebuilt in a much more ornate style.
