The basilica, majestic even in its ruins, was built by the Premontrian monks in the mid 1200s. Half destroyed by the earthquake of 1763, it has not been rebuilt since. The permanent exhibition in the Stone Museum recalls the church and the past. From its roof you have an unparalleled view of the Zsámbék basin.
