My husband and I were lucky to find this little paradise right outside of Budapest. The house itself is beautiful and also very functional (TV, grill, sauna…). The hosts are super sweet and let us pick vegetables and eggs from their garden to eat and even made a fire for us.
The property is facing this open field where the sun goes down right in the middle, so sitting in the pool with your drink and letting the day set is quite magical.
If you want to recharge in nature in a luxury house this is a fantastic choice. I can definitely see us coming back in the winter to cozy up and get some uninterrupted work done and discovering the winter amenities this place has to offer.
There is also a really cute cafe (Sercli) which has specialty coffee and very gourmet selections that made me feel like I’m living the cottage core dream!
